Dear Parents and Guardians,

In the Fall of 2026, Warren County Public Schools (WCPS) will launch the IMPACT Center for Leadership and Innovation. This innovative institution for students in grades 7-12 will feature five pioneering academies that emphasize leadership across all levels; the five academies are as follows: AI and Cyber Systems, Aeronautics, Biomedical Innovation, Design, Enterprise and Visionary Arts, and Robotics and Advanced Systems.

WCPS is collaborating with industry experts such as FranklinCovey, IBM, the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce, and various universities and colleges to enhance the educational experience.

Students will engage in project-based learning, which focuses on hands-on, real-world problem-solving that encourages collaboration and critical thinking.

The IMPACT Center will adopt FranklinCovey’s new Life-Ready Leadership curriculum, ensuring that students are actively engaged, challenged, and equipped for future careers. Graduates from the IMPACT Center will earn the esteemed FranklinCovey Life-Ready Leadership Certificate, a credential recognized and valued by employers, universities and industries across the nation.

Please join us for one of our Parent Engagement Nights and feel free to bring your child(ren) as well. I’ll also travel to each middle and high school to discuss the IMPACT Center with our students. If you cannot make the Parent Engagement Night for your feeder, please feel free to come on any night you’re available.
